Best career advice so far.
I began my career in 2011, and just before joining my first company, I received advice that has stayed with me since.
My Jijaji (brother-in-law) said, “Deepak, avoid staying beyond working hours in the office. If you can finish your work within the working hours, you’ll maintain productivity.”
This advice isn’t about working less; it’s about ensuring efficiency. If you get used to staying late, you may find yourself spending the same amount of time on tasks but with reduced productivity.
Even today, I sometimes feel guilty if I have to work beyond regular hours, as it makes me question my productivity during the standard work hours.
